Dance
Chicago Black Dance Legacy Project (CBDLP) is a movement that keeps Chicago’s Black dance culture front and center. They hold it down by showcasing every Black dance company in the city — from the rooted legends who built the foundation to the new crews pushing the art into its next chapter. CBDLP gives these companies real visibility, real support, and real opportunities to grow, all while honoring the spirit and rhythm of the African diaspora that lives in their work.
BACA is truly grateful to have CBDLP as a resource, partner, and ally in championing Black dance across Chicago. They help us make sure no company gets overlooked and every artist gets their shine.
